NewsSkimmer is a news-visualizing, interactive screensaver with over 100 msnbc.com news feeds to choose. While running, the screensaver is customizable to the user’s taste in news and color preference. The mouse is used to interact. Spacebar exits.


Using the News Menu, users can configure their settings.	News categories can be selected or deselected.	Toggling Assign Colors to On allows users to color code their news channels.

Impatient users can click News Channels to glimpse the full feed contents.	The View Story button clicks through to the full content at msnbc.com.	Every story is linked to the full content on msnbc.com.
